ABOUT US

City Island is a mile-long, 63 acre island and city park in the Susquehanna River between Harrisburg and Wormleysburg, Pennsylvania. It is used mainly for leisure and sports activities. Its previous names have included Turkey Island, Maclay's Island, Forster's Island and Hargast Island.

 

City Island is a tourist destination which is home to numerous businesses including the Harrisburg Senators Baseball Stadium, the Penn Football Club (previously the City Islanders), the Pride of the Susquehanna, Cafe Huey, South Mountain Carriage Company, Water Golf minature golf, City Island Arcade/ Batting Cages, City Island Railroad, and many free parks, playgrounds, and fields.
